The nation's premier high school football showcase is returning to Ohio and Texas with eight games over three days on Labor Day weekend. The Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series pits high school teams from the states of Ohio and Texas against prep football powerhouses from across the nation. The 2010 Ohio event features six Ohio Division I state playoff teams, and state champions from Florida and Virginia. The 2010 Texas event features elite matchups between Arkansas state champion Shiloh Christian and Euless Trinity, in addition to Florida's St. Thomas Aquinas and Skyline. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. Adults tickets are on sale for $15. Student tickets are on sale for $10.
